Bageshwar city situated at a height of 960 meters above see level and covered around 1695.7 sq. km area. The two rivers Gomti and Saryu flowing together and meet here with each other. Bageshwar is surrounded with Nestled amidst cloudy hills. Bageshwar land of “Sadashiva” has attracted saints and devotees through ages; by it’s spiritual magnetism. Located 26 kms from Bageshwar, Baijnath temple is situated on the left bank of Gomti river. The main temple is dedicated to Baijnath or Vaidhyanatha (a name of Shiva) from which the place derives its name.
Also other popular excursions may include Pindari Glacier, Sunderdhunga Glacier and Kafni Glacier.
