By Road :

There a Direct Bus from Dehradun to Hanuman Chatti. From there Yamunotri Dham is just 13 km away.

Another way from Dehradun is that just take a bus to Barkot . From Barkot you take transport to Janki Chatti and from there finally take a transport to Yamunotri. 

How to reach Gangotri :

By Air : From the nearest airport Jolly Grant it is about 226 km .

Coming from Delhi than their no flight ,train or buses to reach Gangotri .

At least you need to reach Dehradun or Haridwar .

By Railway :

There is no direct train and buses from Dehradun to reach Gangotri.

By Road :

You need to hire a taxi to reach there.

From helicopter you can reach fastest there . You easily get helicopter facilities from Dehradun.

By Train :

No train and flight is not available to reach Badrinath. There are many train available from Haridwar and it is the fastest route to reach Badrinath by train . It is not so busy like Kotdwar Train route..
